I'm planning to move to Canada (or Northern Europe) in the future and I'm Filipino. What should I do?
My plan is to finish college in psychology. I have PTSD and it's my dream/goal to finish a psychology degree and do a PhD and research papers on trauma. I only currently finished 11th grade and I stopped at 12th grade. I am deciding to work full-time in restaurants and the like to become independent from my parents and make my own money. I'm planning to finish high school. I'm Filipino. I am 20 and male.
What should I do? Do you think it's wise if I study (vocational or in college) what's in demand in Canada or Netherlands for example? Like if it's Caregiving or Truck Driving should I just give up my psychologist goal and just pursue what's needed in Canada?
It's my dream to live and move in Canada not because I hate my country, but because I'm trying to escape something. I'm not a criminal. I'm trying to move on from my past, and forget it. Long story. And I prefer the Canadian/Western outlook and climate.
What should I do? WHAT SHOULD I PURSUE POST-HIGH SCHOOL?
