Left US without AP, now case is ready for interview...

Hi all,

Filed AOS for marriage in Oct 19, have been on valid work visa status in the US for many years. Have traveled twice since (for work and a funeral) while 485 was pending, always on emergency AP.

In March, I needed to leave again (family emergency), but my emergency AP appointment was cancelled as that was the same day all USCIS offices closed due to COVID. Postponed my flight twice in order to get an emergency appointment, but USCIS were in shambles. They finally got back to me when I was boarding my flight... I was flying to a country that was closing its borders, and I had no choice but to leave.

I presumed this meant my case was abandoned, and I've been struggling to figure out my next move. My work, marriage, medical care...everything depends on this green card. My husband is abroad with me right now, but has to return to US soon when the lockdown ends.

Today, I received notice from the USCIS that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview. I still have a valid work visa (O-1) until June. What are the odds that I can re-enter on my valid O-1, and not have my case cancelled/denied due to me leaving the US?

I imagine it's pretty unlikely, but I figured I might as well inquire to see if anyone has experienced this.

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our ...
