Hey guys, I'm currently on an H4 under my dad's H1B. I turn 21 in November of 2024 and our GC application began in June 2011 (EB2-India). I have already convinced myself that we will not receive the green card in time and that I NEED to major in something that could give me my own h1b when I'm older. The only engineering jobs I seem to have any sort of interest in include either chemical engineering or bioengineering. I would love to get a PHD later as well. Can any current H1B holders in these fields or familiar with these fields give me advice on which one to choose as I apply for university this fall?
