I had a 2 year GC on a marriage visa that expired & they gave me an 18 month paper extension. It expires July 31st. I've been calling since offices reopened to try and get an Infopass appointment for an i551 stamp (Philly office) Every time the callback comes from a tier 2 rep I just get told there's no appointments and they pop up sporadically. Call back again and arrange another call back.
Is there anything else I can do? I've not been working because of Covid. But I've not been able to get any benefits because I moved at the turn of the year. So not eligible for UC in my old state/w2 job Not eligible for PUA in my new state/1099 job
Anyway. Now I can't renew my driver's license which I would need to resume work. I cant apply for any other jobs because my status is expiring At this point I probably won't even get the proposed second stimulus.
I've managed to keep going but I'm blowing through savings and I can't do it much longer.
Is there any other thing I can try to get this bloody stamp?
