Work Permit during AOS

I’m currently in AOS, after marrying we submitted all of our forms, including permit to work and travel received by USCIS in feb, the biometrics was cancelled due to Covid.

I’m curious if anyone knows if I can remain hopeful that the work permit will still come through at some point within the 8 to 14 month range.

I see and realize that o should expect the green card interview to be as long of a wait as 12 - 24 months and that’s fine, but a permit to work and support my wife during these tough times is all I care about.

Edit: I’m currently staying inside the US, and am adjusting from an O1-A artist visa to green card.

Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our
