EAD not approved yet! No response to rfe

Hello! Happy Friday everyone Need to bring to everyone’s attention regarding our problem. My husband’s EAD (opt stem extension) is still pending. He applied for it in Dec 2019, got a RFE in May. Response to this was received by USCIS on 30th June. Since then we haven’t received no response from USCIS regarding the case. He is furloughed from his job and this is the most frustrating situation where we have no clue what to do.

It’s almost 8 months now that the approval (I 765) is pending. We have been checking the case status regularly, calling their office, submitting service request but they don’t have any answer to when they will respond us regarding our case. Does anyone have any idea about how long USCIS takes to respond to RFE? What should we do? How should we contact a congressman or senator? How long does that process take? Please help!!! Please advise!! Thank you!!

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our ...
