I-130 for First Family Preference

Hi! So my situation is that im legally adopted and over 21 and my mom is a retired US Citizen here in the Philippines, she came back here five years ago but is planning on returning and living again in the US and wants to take me with her. We're almost done preparing for filing the I-130 ourselves, but I just want to ask some questions:

  1. Some parts of the form aren't applicable and the instructions state that she should put N/A, but some of the fields dont allow the "/", would it be okay to leave those blank or write NOT APPLICABLE in its entirety?

  2. How many photographs should I send as proof of relationship? She worked in the US and I grew up in the Philippines, so we only have a few photos together and most of them are with extended family. Shes also a bit old and very very traditional, she doesn't like technology much and getting her photos taken, would the photos O have be a problem?

  3. As I mentioned she doesnt like technology so she wants to file the petition and send the documents through mail instead of online, would there be any difference to doing this vs online?

  4. She mentioned that if a US Citizen is the one that files the petition, its a bit faster. Is this true? If so, what's the average time?

  5. After filing and sending the documents to USCIS' Dallas lockbox, should I check on visajourney what date they're processing in the Texas branch or is that not how that works? šŸ˜…

Anyway, thanks so much for answering as I'm very nervous since we didn't get a lawyer in doing this for us. If there are any info or tips you have with filing form I-130 please do reply to this post!

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our ...
