My immigration attorney is not responding and may not honor the term of our agreements, what are my options here?

Shortly before Covid started, I hired an immigration attorney to help me with my citizenship application. I paid the fees, the agreement that I signed basically stated they'd assist me with the filing and they'd accompany me to the interview.

I finally heard back from the gov. my interview is set next month. I've called, emailed. I don't know if it's COVID, but they've been very hard to reach.

I finally got ahold of someone, I think it was an assistant. They said the attorney may not be available and that they haven't received anything. I received the email notification a month ago and received my appointment letter 3 weeks ago. I am 100% they have received the letter as well as they are the attorneys on record.

My questions

  1. What is my option here? I signed the agreement but I was never given a copy of it.

  2. I know attending a citizenship interview does not require attorney but my attorney is the attorney on record. Can I just show up without them?

  3. How do I get my files from this office? are they LEGALLY obligated to turn over my files to me if I request in writing? I've fully paid their fees. I have a letter from them stating so

California

thanks

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. My only concern is this message that we received today in addition to the acceptance: " [Name of petitioner] does not meet the minimum income requirement to sponsor the intending immigrants for this case. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our ...
