This isn't your normal immigration question. This question is directed at those actually processing visas whether you are doing them in-house or an attorney. During these telework times, I'm trying to find better ways to manage my cases. Particularly H-1Bs. I am wondering if anyone has any innovative (and free) ways to track all their cases? Right now I just use an excel sheet and a piece of paper for each case were I keep track of when I requested the Actual Wage information, when I got the Actual Wage information, when I requested the documents from the H1B, when I received them, when I did the Prevailing Wage calculation, when I requested the filing fees, when I filed the LCA... etc. etc. etc. What I'm envisioning is something where I can glance at it and quickly see, oh I need to do the prevailing wage in this case, or oh I need to nudge this person because I requested their docs over a week ago and haven't heard back, etc. I've been looking at various project management tools, currently seeing if the free version of Asana could meet this need. I'd love anyone else's ideas! I work in higher ed so paying for new software isn't really an easy thing to achieve.
