[This is a throwaway account, will be deleted after I get some useful advice]
Introduction: I did BSc in EEE from a developing country (upper second class) and MSc (taught programme) from the UK (with Merit). I have been trying to secure a PhD position for past two years but I lack research experience and publications. Attended few interviews but to no avail.
My intentions: I want to do another MSc to enrich my profile (two-year full fledged programme). Also will try to participate in research activities.
My limitations: I cannot afford expensive destinations like UK or Sweden etc. In my mind Germany would be perfect. Also I'll need to work part time to support myself. I am married and will want to bring my wife in near future.
My question: Now, kind redditors, from what I learned- tuition free countries or countries with subsidised higher education are skeptical about second masters degree, and understandably so, why would they invest. While visa approval is not a sure thing in anywhere in the world, could you please help me find a study destination where second masters visa candidates are usually welcome. It would also help if you shared your own experience in this regard.
Thank you ever so much for each and every comment, remark or criticism you make here. Have a wonderful weekend.
