Currently a greencard holder and Canadian citizen. Looking to move back to Canada sometime in 2021. Would like to have the flexibility to move back to the US if needed though since the job market for my line of work is in fairly high demand in NY and LA.
Recently renewed my greencard so it's valid until 2030.
Quickly reading online, there seems to be tax implications of being a US citizen and living in Canada. Which is making me wonder if I should remain just a greencard holder, but will I lose that status as well if I decide to reside in Canada?
Edit** Title should say "Should I apply for US citizenship..."
