Is it easier to fill out forms online or on paper?

My fiance and I are currently trying to do a change of visa process to get her a green card. We have all the forms we need to fill out but our only stipulation is if it would be easier to fill them out on paper or online through the website. I've been advocating to fill them out online as it is easier to keep everything in one place and we don't have to worry about things getting lost in the mail, instant feedback, etc. She is advocating that since all her friends did it through the mail and they say that way is easier that we should do it that way since all the forms will be together as one.

What has been yall's experience with filling out applications online or by hand? any recommendations?
