DACA recipient Married to US Citizen.

Recent marriage to Citizen

I’m hoping to get a bit of insight...I’m not as educated in immigration as I should be.

  1. I’m a DACA recipient, and have been since the inception of the program.
  2. I’m 36, came to the US when I was 7, and have never left the country.
  3. I finished HS here and started college, but I did not finish my AA or transfer.
  4. I have a 9 year old child, who was born here.
  5. I have paid taxes every year since turning 18, have never been in any kind of legal trouble, and have no criminal record.

I recently got married (just last week) my husband is a citizen, we want to work together to adjust my status to become a permanent resident and eventually get my citizenship.

Is it worth paying the money for an attorney to help?

Will I have to return to my home country or is there an option where I do not need to leave the country?

I’m honestly not even sure where to start. My apologies if I sound lost, but I 100% am very lost.

Nearly one year later on Feb 2021 they sent me a notice that they'll reuse my biometrics from my green card application, but they won't refund the biometric fee! At the same time April 2021 showed up on my account as the expected completion date. Last week, the status was "17 days". Today the estimated time of completion has disappeared!!! Any idea what that means? More importantly - When I click on "View PDF" link under "N-400 Application for Naturalization", to see my actual N-400 form, I get " {"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}} " message! The form is also missing under "Documents -> Your Uploads" tab! So, it appears that my N400 form is missing! What does that all mean, considering that it's impossible to file without N400 form! Finally, under profile, My name is incorrectly sp...
