Hi guys, my wife and I have been married for over 5 years.(I'm a us citizen she is daca) We want to start the green card process and eventually get her citizenship. We've met many lawyers and to be honest we're scared to even start her green card process. Mosts lawyers said she will need to get a perdon and may or may not stay 10 years in mexico, but another lawyer said she will probably not need it as long as she applied before her 18th birthday or within the 180 days after turning 18. I'm quite lost. She applied for daca a month after her 18th birthday but she didn't get the card about 11 months after. Can she skip I-601A? Does it go by the date of the application or the day she received her ead? Is the 180 days real?
