Just had my ceremony. Apart from no longer worrying about the future and paperwork, what wise did becoming a citizen bring to you?
So far I’ve come up with: 1. Visa free travel 2. Planning travel freely without depending on updating travel documents with uscis 3. Not being hassled at every international airport 4. If I get a ticket for anything, like drinking outside or whatever, it’s just finances, not a threat to my future. 5. Attending any protests I want because see p.4
What else have you discovered as those small things that make you go “Wheeeeee!” Once you became a citizen?
