My mother has sponsored my uncle who lives in our home country for about 7 years now. However, in that time he has gotten married and had 2 kids. This isn’t reflected in his current application and it needs to be updated. I have searched through the US immigration website and can’t find any forms that allow you to update anything other than address. Who needs to update this information, my mother (the sponsor) or my uncle? How do I update this information? I assume the supporting papers will be needed such as birth certificates and marriage documents, but who does this need to be sent to? Assuming that he is finally allowed a visa into the US, would this include his wife and kids?
