Basically the title. I am currently a green card holder and plan on applying for citizenship in the near future. Also, the foreign passport that I came to the US with will be expiring before that. My father just recently got his US citizenship and it says on the naturalization interview invitation letter that you should bring any passports with you to the interview. From what I've found online it seems they only need it to check any absences from my stay in the US but my father keeps nagging me about renewing the passport and telling me that I will need it for the naturalization process. Is he right?
