I-130 Form Envelope Cannot Fit Evidence Documents for a Bona Fide Marriage; Separate Envelopes Okay?
Hi r/immigration,
While preparing the I-130 packet, my wife and I realized we cannot fit the evidence documents (like photos, messages, flight tickets, hotel stays, lease agreements, financial co-mingling, etc.) inside the envelope. We are forced to use a separate envelope marked as "Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage".
In our overall cover letter (which is also inside an envelope marked as "Cover Letter"), we stated that the "Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage" is a separate envelope. However, we did not note that it is for the I-130.
Questions:
- Should we make a note on both the "Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage" envelope and the main Cover Letter that "Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage" is for the I-130?
- We don't have time to re-print, so we can only add comments using a pen. Can we just write in pen on the main Cover Letter, "The Evidence of Bona Fide Marriage envelope is for the I-130 form."?
Thank you for all the help!
