So my fiancé (petitioner, U.S Citizen) recently started a new job last month and they are looking at making 55K per year which definitely covers the minimum income requirement. They are an at-will employee (if that matters) and the nature of the job is 100% remote (even pre-COVID) as it mainly has to do with programming.
Now I know that there is a stipulation that for earnings to be considered stable they have to be U.S based. The company is U.S based so that is not an issue.
My question is: if my fiancé wanted to come visit me in my home country and stay with me for a month or two while continuing to work remotely (assuming of course the company agrees to this and the timing logistics are all worked out for both parties) would this cause the earnings to now be unstable and if so how? Would only those earnings from that month (or two) be affected or would it cause an issue overall?
Thank you!
