questions about J1 automatic visa revalidation and nonresident US visa applications

Hello all,

I am a postdoc, recently renewed my DS2019 form for one more year at this position.
I was planning to visit my home country this summer but I have some concerns related to getting J1 visa stamp as the US embassy in my home country (Turkey) seems to process visas very slow and maybe not giving out visas due to covid.

I am looking for alternative ways to renew the required J1 visa stamp.
Recently, I heard about this auto visa revalidation granted when one travels to canada from USA.
Does it just provide an entrance to USA for the canada trip or do you also get a renewed J1 visa stamp with the revalidation?

If this revalidation thing doesn't work, I was wondering if I can make a US visa application as a nonresident/tourist in another country or could there be an alternative work around for my status?

N-400 form {"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}} message

Any idea what that means? More importantly - When I click on "View PDF" link under "N-400 Application for Naturalization", to see my actual N-400 form, I get " {"data":null,"error":{"developerMessage":null,"userMessage":null}} " message! The form is also missing under "Documents -> Your Uploads" tab! So, it appears that my N400 form is missing! What does that all mean, considering that it's impossible to file without N400 form! Finally, under profile, My name is incorrectly sp...
