Greetings.
This question might be tricky.
I'm an overseas pharmacist looking to migrate as soon as possible to Australia through the 190, 491, or 494 visas, being 190 the best option overall because it's an instantaneous Permanent Residency.
Tasmania, South Australia, and New South Wales are places that I'm targeting to apply for migration, currently, Tasmania is the only one with an offshore occupation list and requirements, the other two regions are closed until further notice.
This is Tasmania's occupation and requirement list.
To be able to apply for migration, I need a full AHPRA (pharmacy council) licence registration, but both pathways for being able to work as a pharmacist in Australia require a provisional registration first.
So, to be able to go to Tasmania from overseas I need a full registration, but to be able to get a full registration I need to be in Australia.
Is this paradox intended perhaps? Does anyone know better of Australian laws that might be able to help me understand this process?
I greatly appreciate any help or orientation!
