B2-Visa Extension Question

Hi all,

I am a bit lost and couldn’t find much help online, so I am posting here.

My boss flew in his friend from Peru yesterday and showed me his friend’s travel visa, which had “B2” circled in the Visa, with a 6-month date stamp that ends on July 31, 2021.

My boss, (who is elderly and near-retirement), requested help for this matter and wanted to know how to extend his friend’s stay.

I know... he probably should have taken care of this before making plans.

But, could someone help me in regards to requesting an extension?

I went to USCIS’s website and began to fill out an online request to extend the stay.

My boss and his friend had no clue what USCIS is or what an I-539 or I-94 form was. They didn’t know the A-Number or the USCIS number, nor do they have any info besides the passport from Peru with stamps and such.

If I don’t have the A-Number or other pieces of information for this form, how can I go about helping my boss ensure his friend’s Visa can be extended?

Any help or insight is appreciated.

I’m not sure how I can go about helping extend it if I don’t even have the required information for the forms.
