Hello everyone,
Hope all is well. I just got Naturalized this month and would like to get any idea in regards to my spouse's immigrant visa.
So, I have applied my husband an immigrant visa form I-30 in 2018 while I was still holding a Green Card. We have received approval and qualifications from USCIS back in 2020 however, the Pandemic hits and changes everything. It's been nearly 2 years that we are still awaiting for his interview in the Philippines but still nothing.
Now, that I am US Citizen I am hopeful that this process will be able for us to schedule his interview appointment in the Philippines more faster.
I guess my question is - What should I need to do in order for the National Visa Center (NVC) / US consular in the Philippines to make this a priority. Do I need to send them an email or mail a letter to let them know that I changed status from LPR to US Citizen?
Thanks in advance.
