My undergrad employer filed for Perm while on OPT, will I be approved for my grad school OPT & STEM OPT extension?
Hi everyone!
Before I left for grad school, my undergrad OPT employer had applied for PERM for me, but after about a year or so, it fell through and was denied. My employer and lawyer refiled again, and am now waiting on the prevailing wage determination.
I am currently in grad school - will be graduating Spring 2022, and am worried that my OPT will not be approved because of that. Hoping for some insights and advice if anyone knows what the situation here will be.
On top of that, I will also be applying for STEM OPT this time around as well. Should I be worried that it will be a cause for denial?
I found these two links (about STEM OPT extension), one saying that it doesn't matter, and another one saying it does, so I'm really looking for some clarification here:
