Is it a good idea to travel to US on b1/b2 in my situation?

I have to take my USMLE step 3 exam in the US and I have booked the test for jan17. And I wanted to travel to the US from India in Jan first week. Now, the problem is there’s a new variant rising and US is imposing travel bans slowly. I’m afraid that the situation goes out of hand and I might not be able to travel to the US in January.

So I want to travel in the next week but worried if I will be stopped by custom agents at port of entry. I went into secondary inspection last time and it was not fun. Is it okay to travel now given my exam is more than a month away? Or am I thinking too much? Any suggestions are welcome!

DS-260 Have you ever attended any educational institutions at a secondary level or above?

Ok so I’m not sure what to put down here, I have a high school diploma and currently attending college! So for the occupation part for a previous question I put down the school I go to and address, however I am uncertain what to put down here, I put my high school start and end date but do I also include the college? Because it says highest level of education COMPLETED but also in the drop down menu there is an option that says UNIVERSITY,NO DEGREE which if I do choose then I will have to fill out the school information and then a start date and an end date which I still do not know this is the only question I’m struggling will and have looked into it but no straightforward answer!
