Does filing for K1 cancel an active B1

Not too familiar with how all this works, but my fiancée and I will be filing for the K1 soon. I'm a US citizen, she's not. Her B1 appointment is in early January and she's had one before, so I don't see there being a problem with her getting it again. My question is, if after she gets it, we then file for the K1, will that render her B1 obsolete? I can't remember where, but I thought I had read somewhere that it would.
