Moving for UK to Austria - Advice needed

Hey everyone,

Id be really grateful for any hints, tips and advice people could provide.

Im due to move from the UK to Austria to start work 01/Mar/2022 and wondered what things I would need that are obvious to Austrian residents but might be different to what Im used to in the UK.

The company I will be working for are preparing the RWR card, so that takes a lot of pressure off of me.

I know I need an Austrian bank account but I cant get one of those until I have an Austrian address right?

Ive been looking on Wilhaben.at for accommodation. Unfortunately for my first month in country, I will still be using a UK bank account (Natwest) would this be a problem for paying the deposit and first months rent generally?

Im also looking at taking my motorbike with me. Does anyone know what customs clearances etc I would need? I know I have to apply to register the bike in Austria within the first 90 days of living there, just not sure what paperwork and documentation etc I need for loading it into a van and taking it across the Eurotunnel.

These are the main concerns at the moment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

NVC Case FE Review note

Hi everyone, my family and I are under the F3 category and we just received a notice from NVC that our documents have been approved and that we are Documentarily Qualified. The consular officer will make a decision regarding this requirement at the time of the interview. For more information, please visit https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p . To avoid delays, an additional Affidavit of Support Form I-864 for a joint sponsor may be submitted." We already have a petitioner and a household sponsor (the household sponsor's income is above the required level), but still unsure why we received this. Has anyone else received this message? All of our documents say "Approved" on NVC. Does this mean we have to find another sponsor? Can we show the consular officer our ...
